IF: Intention

It was not Beauty's Father's intention to anger the beast. He only wanted to bring his poor daughter one perfect rose.

This illustration is another illustration from the book "Beauty and the Beast" which I illustrated for Compass Media. Illustrated digitally in Photoshop and Painter.

I like your take on the Beast--it's hard to balance his beastliness and the fact that he's a sympathetic character!

Great illustration! I knew it is "The beauty and the beast" after one second, before reading the text.

Very enjoyable illustration - the expressions are precious. The style and colouring is unique. I would love to see this in a larger format. Cheers!
