IF: Theory

So, In Theory, if I kiss this frog, he should turn into a prince, right?

And in theory, if I climb this beanstalk, it should eventually take me
to some magical kingdom in the clouds?

Here are a couple more images for my new website, that I've been working on for about half a year now. I am going to get this done!! Thanks to my friends for keeping me motivated!

On the frog, I had to be careful that the the greens weren't all the same color. A little tricky, but I think it turned out okay. On the beanstalk, I was trying for a kind of morning lighting. Playing with lighting has been my new thing lately. The colors didn't turn out as nice as the originals. That white light is supposed to be more yellow. I've been having a little trouble adjusting the colors since I had to go back to my laptop. My Mac Mini's hard drive got fried. :(

Yes, well, in theory you could relate just about anything to a topic like "theory".

Shawna! Sorry about the hard drive. Ouch!!! Greens are tricky for me too. You pulled it off beautifully. I kissed a frog once. I debunked the theory.

Really nice, particularly in your colors. You definitely succeeded in a variety of greens!

incredible work! Sorry to hear about your mac. I'm a "mac head" too, but I admit, they're prone to their glitches at times.

You don't give yourself enough credit. Thos are some wonderful illustrations. I even thought they were better after analyzing the greens!

Great work. I really like the vine; praticularly, how it climbs out of the composition.

Hi Shawna! I love your work as well! Your characters are amazing and you have a great style. I really respect your religous work because I have such a hard time doing it! It always looks way too serious.

Really great work. I think you got the colors right on the money (no green pun intended!)

Wonderful work. The theory is worth a try, but I think you have already climbed to great heights. Your website was a delight!

I know a lot of people don't enjoy this kind of stuff. . .but I think it's a fun opportunity to learn more things about a person~ So if you have time, list 5 random things about your self. You can even do sketches to go along with them! Tag 5 people in return.
